Hello kids!! How are you? Well, I hope you're fine and happy after learning so many things about Thanksgiving!! We watched a very ineresting video which helped us to understand this American tradition; maybe in some years we also celebrate Thanksgiving, would you like?

Here you have some voc we learnt:

corn onthe cob, feast, pilgrims, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, gravy, roast turkey...

Last class we first checked your comics; well, we will continue a bit more until we have a kind of book full of pictures and stories, it will be really nice, believe me.

Then we practised more voc related to toys. I think this is enough and next week we can start a new lesson, let's see if we are ready, ok?

As I told you, you can get some extra points if you work here in our blog. Here you have some words for you to write a sentence and get more points. Are you ready? That's what I hope!

Wednesday 19th November

Hi kids!! How are you? I guess you're flying with your imagination and the Dragon inventing amazing stories for our project, aren't you?? I'm glad to know you're doing right as you started in the classroom. Well, little by little we'll get a wonderful book full of  your comics.

Last class we revised voc related to toys and to numbers again. As I told you I'm very happy because you're working really hard and learning a lot!! We sang the song that you knew before and you got extra points. Congratulations!

We practised listening and pronunciation, too. All of you read aloud about your favourite things (to practise numbers, colours, "my favourite... is ....") and I have to say that you're improving week after week. After that our project started.

As I said in class, you don't need to worry about grammar or spelling. For this reason we have started in class, to check all kind of mistakes. The important thing is to imagine great stories. You will also add some drawings and/or pictures to have a very cool book. You'll see! Don't forget because this is homework

Wednesday 12th November

Hello class!! How are you today? Are you fine?? Well, I hope so, I'm fine too; our last meeting was very very good and I'm very happy with you!! You worked very hard and we had lots of fun.

Last class we continued working with voc related to toys and, very important: you practised the structure WHOSE IS ______ ? IT'S PETER'S (example) I'm very happy because you did very well. We were asking  many questions with different toys (speaking) we listened to children talking about their toys (listening) and  we also completed a couple of worksheets (writing). And to finish you read aloud a short paragraph (reading) The 4 skills!! It was great!

And also very important you behaved really well. That's why by the end of the class you played with our new cards toys-related. We had lots of fun.

For next  day you have to complete the homework worksheet I gave you. You will draw pictures or stick images about your favourite things, ok?  And then you will give a short presentation based on your work. Don't forget. And you Oscar remember to show the class everything you do with the Dragon with some pictures and brief explanations, ok? I really hope you enjoy these days with our pet. Take care of it.

Hi kids, is everything ok? Well, I hope so. And also that you're revising the verb HAVE GOT. I thought it was really clear, but obviously we need to go on working with it. Do you remember?:

We introduced the topic about TOYS. Although it's something you like it was a bit difficult at the beginning for you to remember the name of many of your things. Try to learn the new words as ROBOT, KITE, DOLL, BALL, LORRY... and so on. We revised the colours as well. I have to admit that you need a deeper revision. But don't worry by now because we will work step by step and slowly for you to understand everything we learn in order to learn in the right way, ok?

After the break we listened to some songs related to toys. We practised a bit more with vocabulary and had an interesting chat about your toys. For homework you have to tell the class about the toys you have. And you Ismael, apart from that, remember to show us some pictures about your week with our Dragon, while you tell us the things you did. Don't forget!!
